Post : Scientist: ‘C’
Vacancies : 04 position
Salary : Pay Band-3 : Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade pay: Rs. 6600/- plus admissible allowances
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
(a) Essential : Ph.D. in any area of Earth Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, hydrology or allied fields with first class in M.Sc., preferably in Glaciology, with four years post doctoral experience in the field of Glaciology with good academic record & publications in reputed journals.
(b) Desirable :
(i) Throughout 1st class academic record. The Institute reserves the right to screen-in candidates with throughout 1st class academic record for being called for an interview.
(ii) Specialization in the field of Physical Glaciology, Climate Change, Glacial Hydrology, Environmental Glaciology with expertise in modeling.
