It is proposed to fill up 13 (Thirteen) vacancies (subject to variation, depending on administrative  developments   &  exigencies)  in the  posts  of  Nautical  Surveyor   in the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India/Mercantile Marine Departments, in the pay scale of `. 15,600-39100/-+Grade Pay `. 7,600/- on an ad-hoc basis, from amongst the eligible candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and experience as under

Recruitment Details :

Post : Nautical Surveyor

Vacancies : 13 (Thirteen)

Salary :  Pay Band-3 of Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/-

Educational Qualification : Certificate of Competency as a Master of a foreign going ship.

Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years

Desirable :  Master’s Certificate of Competency or M.Sc. degree in Maritime Affairs.

Place of Work: Maharashtra

Selection Process:  Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.

Important Dates :

Last Date for Receipt of Application:  within 21 days from the date of Advt published in the Employment news.
Employment News Paper Date: 19 to 25 January 2013.
