Applications are invited from male Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for recruitment to the following  posts in SSB :

1. Sub-Inspector (Pioneer) :  29 posts,  Pay Scale : PB-II Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200, Age : 30 years
2. Head Constable (Workshop) : 186 posts for male only, Pay Scale :  PB-1 Rs. 5200 - 20200 + GP Rs. 2400/-, Age : 18-25 years

Application Fee : Application fee in the form of Bank DD in favour of Accounts Officer, FTR HQ SSB, Patna, (Bihar) payable at SBI Patna will be Rs. 50/-  for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories in favour of  the authorities as defined in the detailed advt. No fee will be charged from SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

Sub-Inspector Jobs in West Bengal Police March-2013

Recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector / Lady Sub-Inspector (Unarmed) in West Bengal Police 2013.

Applications are invited for the following posts in West Bengal Police :

1. Sub-Inspector of Police (Un-armed) : 282 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-37600/- Grade Pay Rs. 3900/- 
2. Lady Sub-Inspector (Un-armed)  : 118 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-37600/- Grade Pay Rs. 3900/- 

Age : 20-27 years as on 01/01/2013.

Application Fee :   Fee of Rs. 150/- in the form of A/C payee Demand Draft  payable at Kolkata from any Nationalized Bank or IPO payable at GPO Kolkata in favour of 'West Bengal Police Recruitment Board’ (WBPRB). Candidates belonging to SC/ST category of West Bengal only are not required to pay any fee. 

Application Form :   The prescribed application form with detailed Information Brochure will be available from the office of the Superintendent of Police of all districts and the office of the Commissioner of Police of all Police Commissionerates (except Kolkata) up to 16/04/2013. Application Form will be issued to the candidates on production of Bank Draft / Postal Order of Rs. 150/-  or Caste Certificate (for the candidates from SC/ ST of West Bengal only). 


How to Apply :  Duly filled up Application Form along with two photographs and copies of all certificates are to be placed in an envelope of size 34 cm X 26 cm. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will organise an All India Examination on 10/06/2013 (Part-I and 18/08/2013  on Paper-II for Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police (DP) and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assistant Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Intelligence Officer in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). SSC invites application Offline/ Online  for the above posts :

1. Sub-Inspector in Central Armed Forces (CAPFs)  : 1176 posts (CRPF-234, CISF-314, ITBP-136, SSB-68), Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 - 34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200 /-, Age : 20-25 years
2. Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police : 330 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 - 34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200 /-, Age : 20-25 years
3. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) (CISF) : 80 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5200–20200/- Grade Pay Rs.2800 /-, Age : 20 - 25  years
4. Intelligence Officer in NCB : 338 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 - 34800 Grade Pay Rs.4600 /-, Age : 20-25 years

Qualification : Graduation. 

Fee Payable : Rs.100/- (No fee for Women/ SC/ST/PH and Ex-Servicemen) by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only, available at head post office all over the country OR SBI challan OR Online payment through SBI online payment.
