Recruited Post:

Post Name: Project Trainees 

No. of Positions: 10 (GEN-6, OBC-3, SC-1) /(Ph-1)

     (a)  Project Trainee [Library Information Management (LIM)] - (No. of Positions : 8)

Minimum educational qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline followed by M.L.I.Sc. or Master’s Degree in any discipli ne with B.L.I.Sc. or  Associate ship in Documentation and Information Science awarded by DRTC / NISCAIR or its equivalent.

      (b) Project Trainee [Electronic Resource Management (ERM)] -(No. of Positions : 2)

   Minimum educational qualification : BE/B.Tech. in  Computer Science or Electronics or Information Technology or MCA .

For (a) and (b) above: 

1. The General/OBC applicants should have secured  a  minimum of First Class or equivalent as declared by the university in the qualifying examination.  
2. SC applicants with a pass class will also be considered. 

Duration and Stipend:  Duration  of the training is 2 years and the stipend i s Rs.7500/- p.m. (fixed) during the first year and Rs.8000/ - p.m. (fixed) during the second year subject to satisfactory work and conduct.

Post Name: Junior Project Trainee 

No. of Positions : 5 (GEN-4,OBC-1 )

     Mi nimum educational qualification: Job Oriented Course (JOC) in Li brary & Information Science (10+2) awarded by State Council of Vocational Education or  Diploma in Library and Information Science (10+2+2) awarded by the Department of Technical Education. The General/OBC applicants should have secured a minimum of first class or equival ent as decl ared by the Council/Board in the qualifying examination.

Duration and Stipend:  Duration  of the training is 2 years and the stipend is  Rs.4000/- p.m. (fixed) during th e first year and Rs.4,500/- p.m. (fixed) during the second year subject to satisfactory work and conduct.
