Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens as per Citizenship Act 1955 for the following courses
commencing in July 2013 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent / Short
Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches.

Flying Branch - 12 SSC COURSE
(a) Age: 19 to 23 years as on 01 July 2013 i.e. born between 02 July 1990 to 01 July 1994 (Both dates
inclusive).
(Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA(India)
is relaxable upto 25 years i.e. born between 02 July 1988 to 01 July 1994 (Both dates inclusive ).
(b) Educational Qualifications: Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a
recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and
have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) from a
recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
(b) No. 55 Short Service Commission (55 SSC)Course
(a) Age: 18 to 28 years as on 01 July 2013 i.e. Born between 02 July 1985 to 01 July 1995 (both
dates inclusive).
(b) Educational Qualifications:
(i)Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)}. Candidates applying for AE (L) branch would
be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognised
University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of
Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the
Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies. Candidates should
also fulfil conditions given in Para 4 (a).
(ii) Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) {AE (M)}. Candidates applying for AE (M) branch would
be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognised
University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of
Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies. Candidates should also fulfil
conditions given in Para 4 (b).
(b) No. 27 Short Service Commission (27 SSC) Course
(a) Age Limit:
For Graduates: 20 to 23 Years (02 July 1990 to 01 July 1993)
For Post Graduates / LLB ( Five years integrated course).:20 to 25 Years(02 July 1988 to 01 July 1993)
For LLB (Three years course after Graduation).(both dates inclusive) :20 to 26 Years (02 July 1988 to 01 July 1993)
For M Ed / Ph D / CA / ICWA:20 to 27 Years(02 July 1986 to 01 July 1993)Born Between

Administration & Logistics-Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
