Applications are invited from the candidates who are domicile of West Bengal, Bihar Odisha, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand and Port Blair for the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service) NE-4 in the pay scale of Rs.12,500/- to 28,500/- at various airports in the states in Eastern Region and at NSCBI Airport, Kolkata.Total number of posts to be filled are approximately 72.(SC-12 , ST- 9, OBC-11 & UR - 40 ).

Post : Junior Assistant (Fire Service)
Vacancies : 72 (SC-12, ST-9, OBC-11, UR-40)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12500-28500
Age Limit : 18 to 30 years as on 30th July, 2012 (Upper age relaxation- 5 years for SC and
ST; 3 years for OBC; Length of service extended by 3 years for Exservicemen.)
Educational Qualifications:
a) 10th Pass + 3 years’ approved regular Diploma in Mechanical /
Automobile / Fire with minimum 50 % marks; OR
b) 12th Pass (Regular Study) with 50 % marks.
*Driving License
Desirable :
Due weightage shall be given to a candidate possessing any one or more
(subject to maximum limit of the following)
a) Computer Science as subject at 12th class level;
b) NCC “B” Certificate;
c) Relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire service.
d) Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training
Establishment;
e) Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
